BRENTWOOD REMODEL

This project is for a single-family house remodel in the neighborhood of Brentwood, in Los Angeles, California. The scope of work included a new roof and front facade - eliminating the existing garage and creating a terrace on the second floor which serves the bedrooms. The interior of the home was also updated with new windows and door system that offered more excellent thermal resistance and more open flow, a newly remodeled master bathroom, an extension to the ground floor office space, and new and efficient storage solutions built in the exterior walls, improving as the same time the solar gains in the house. The design aesthetic is modern/contemporary, utilizing clean lines, natural materials, and a bright, neutral color scheme throughout. The remodel elevated the occupants’ experience living in the home and provided a more efficient usage of space.
